Tryouts held at Utica University Nexus Center. Please bring a light and dark jersey.

A brief information session will be held after each tryout ice session.

SEASON FORMAT

The Utica Raptors Full Ice Mites AAU program is designed to be "Half-Ice" mites friendly. Meaning your skater can still play half ice with their home organization. However, this will present challenges at times and make for an intensive schedule. The Raptors team will hold

 

2 Team practices per week

16+ home games (Hosted at Colgate University)

10 + away games

5+ tournaments (Sept, Oct, Dec, Jan, Feb)

In order to be selected to the primary roster your skater is expected to commit to at least 80% of the practices. 

​

Tentative Practice slots: Requested Monday/Wednesday 6 – 7pm  (8/31/26 - 2/26/27)

​

Team roster: 12-13 skater + 1-2 goalies

​

Team Alternates: 5 skaters + 1 goalie – May attend all practices. Will be invited to roster for games based on primary skater availability (i.e. - If someone cannot make the game/tournament) & player performance/development. Will make every effort to get “alternates” opportunities to play full ice games.

Estimated Costs - Finalized After Roster Selection (payment plans available)

Registration: $900 

Jerseys + Socks: $125 - $150

Tournament Fees: $150/tournament (fundraisers reduce tournament cost)

Note: Any Nexus home game slots will be paid like tournaments. Estimated: $40/player/game
