Terms & Conditions

By registering for and purchasing a spot in the Raptors Hockey Club Hockey Skills Development Clinic, Camp, Tournament Team, Tryout, ID Skate, or practice the participant and/or parent or legal guardian (“Registrant”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility & Registration

The Clinic is open only to participants who meet the stated age, skill level, and division requirements as advertised.

Registration is first-come, first-served, maximum capacity for each activity does exist and will be determined by Club staff.

The Registrant affirms that all information provided during registration is accurate and complete.
2. Payment Terms
-
All fees are listed in USD and must be paid in full prior to participation.

Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, Venmo, or check.

Prices are subject to change prior to registration but will not change once payment is completed.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
-
Registrant Cancellation: Cancellations made 7 days or more before the start date will receive a full refund minus any processing fees. Cancellations made within 7 days of the start date are refunded only at the owner's discretion.

Clinic Cancellation: If the Clinic is cancelled due to low enrollment, facility issues, or unforeseen circumstances, Registrants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer registration to a future clinic.

No refunds will be issued for missed sessions, late arrivals, or early departures.
4. Transfers

Registrations are non-transferable without prior written approval from Club Staff.

Unauthorized transfers may result in forfeiture of registration without refund.
5. Assumption of Risk
-
Ice hockey is a contact sport involving inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, and injuries.

By registering, the Registrant acknowledges and accepts all risks associated with participation, whether known or unknown.
6. Medical Authorization & Fitness to Participate
-
The Registrant confirms that the participant is medically and physically fit to participate.

In the event of injury or medical emergency, the Registrant authorizes Clinic staff to seek emergency medical treatment if necessary.

All medical expenses incurred are the responsibility of the Registrant.
7. Code of Conduct
-
Participants are expected to demonstrate respectful behavior toward coaches, staff, officials, and other players.

Unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate conduct may result in immediate removal from the Clinic without refund.

Parents/guardians are expected to adhere to a zero-tolerance policy regarding abuse of staff or participants.
8. Equipment & Safety

Participants must arrive with properly fitted hockey equipment, including helmet with cage/visor as required.

The Clinic reserves the right to deny participation if equipment is deemed unsafe or incomplete.
9. Media Release
-
By registering, the Registrant grants permission for the Clinic to use photographs or video recordings of the participant for promotional, instructional, or marketing purposes without compensation.

If you wish to opt out, written notice must be provided prior to the participants start date.

Any photographs or video used will be taken in a public group setting only and will not be used in conjunction with any identifying information about the minor. Should the parent/guardian request removal of specified media from public forums it will be removed promptly.
10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Club, its owners, coaches, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Governing Law
-
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York
12. Agreement
By completing registration and submitting payment, the Registrant confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of themselves and the participant.
